There is a limit for sample rate @48 khz when working with multiple quantum.

Would/will be possible to work @96Khz with 2 or more units in the future, maybe with new drivers?

There is no sample rate limit when aggregating multiple Quantums. Thunderbolt ports do not have to follow SMUX protocol.

Here's the PreSonus video that says you can daisy chain 4 quantums and record at 192khz.   So, 32 analog inputs at 192.
