Question

My Quantum has been working fine for years. Now it rarely works on the first try. I have to restart my PC several times until it randomly will finally connect. Another thing I noticed is my PC occasionally boots to BIOS as though there's an issue. If I unplug the TB3 to TB2 adapter from the card it avoids this issue. Could it be that the adapter or cable is suddenly bad? This adapter goes for $150 so it's a pricey thing to buy just to check.

Solved. I thought I had updated the driver for my Thunderbolt adapter card. Apparently I did not. Once I did the problem went away. I feel a bit stupid but at least maybe someone else will see this and it will help them.
