Question

Hi,

When you create a new instrument track in S1 and start recording,
an event gets created automatically.
Once you stop playing or stop the recording, the event ends there.

When you try to do the same with Step-Recording, nothing happens.
You select your track, press F2 to open the note editor and activate the Step-Recording.
You start playing notes, the cursor moves but you don't see any notes.

The reason is that the Step-Recording requires an event.
If there is no event, it won't work.

Please improve the Step-Recording so that an event gets created automatically, if there is no event.
(Like it's the case for the normal recording.)
