Hello,

I am a performing concert pianist and composer. One of the features I love in Cakewalk Sonar is the fact it DOES recognize Sustain Pedal Events in Step Recording. When composing piano pieces or using the piano as a base for all of my orchestration, it is essential for it to recognize sustain pedal events in Step Recording. It Does in Sonar but not in Studio One 3 Step Recording. When step recording piano with sustain in Sonar all of the parts are precise and clean and actually sound better than a live recorded piano. I need that feature in Studio one.

When Sonar started becoming unstable I bought Cubase Pro and Studio One 3 to find an alternative production system. I prefer Studio One EXCEPT there is no Sustain in Step Recording. Without sounding like a ****, I do Not need a work around. I need the whole thing ready as in Sonar. Please Help.
