Question

I was recommended by Shure to download the Studio One software as I have a Shure SM58 microphone but have a Microsoft laptop so they said I would be able to connect my microphone to this software.

However I am wondering where I can get background/ instrumental music from? Is this something I can download via this software or are you able to recommend a good quality way of getting instrumental music behind my singing?

All versions of Studio One come with loop content which should allow you to build backing tracks by combining various different drum and musical loops.  Please download the content from your user account.  https://my.presonus.com/products/software

Alternately, if you want to do cover songs, search the net for Standard MIDI Files of popular songs.
