Hi,
I have the Waves H-Reverb Plugin, and it doesn't work as cleanly as in other DAWs. I think this is a Studio One issue because I tested the plugin in Cubase and it sounds good. In Studio One, the plugin sounds very harsh and static-y / distorted / clipped. I don't know how to explain it, so here's a link to the mixdowns from the respective DAWs. Please take a look. I contacted Waves and they assured me that the plugin wasn't the issue, so I tried it with Cubase, and they were correct. I fiddled around with the Buffer Sizes and Dropout Protection but it didn't help at all. What setting is causing this issue?
I wonder what other plugins were giving me bad quality? I guess once this is resolved I'll have to bounce everything again...
Please help me.
P.S. I'm running Studio One 4.1.6.55987 Artist (latest) on Windows 10 Home 64 bit
P.P.S. I have the PreSonus Studio 24 interface with Firmware v1.13 with Universal Control version 3.1.2.54970 (latest)
