Question

I am trying to update my firmware to the latest for my Studiolive 16.4.2 AI.  I get to step 10 in the instructions which is Restoring firmware problems.    Turning on the power with the card removed and the USB stick installed with the downloaded upgrade.  It just sits there and says "Loading Please Wait" for hours and hours.  It never gets to Restoring Firmware.  Any advice?   Doug B

 

My current firmware version is:  4834 which was installed when the board was shipped to me this spring.

The thumb drive you are using is either incompatible or is formatted incorrectly.

Thumb drive must be 32gb or smaller
Format must be FAT32, FAT16 or FAT.

We have seen the best success using Sandisk Cruzer series drives, these are available everywhere even at Walgreens.
