How do I update the firmware on a FirePod to make it become an FP10?

This firmware update should be applied to any FirePod units that have lost S/PDIF I/O functionality.

Important note:

DO NOT UPDATE FROM FIREPOD TO FP-10 USING WINDOWS VISTA OR 7 OR MAC 10.6+

YOU MUST USE AN OLDER OS TO RUN THE UPDATE FROM FIREPOD TO FP-10.



Once you have the firmware updater run, you will need to install the FP-10 controller to use with the updated controller.

http://www.presonus.com/products/FP10/downloads

When you run the updater, please take note of the serials that are listed so that we may see if they are in fact being shown as the same serial.

If this is the case please contact Technical Support and let them know that your FIrepod / FP-10's are listing as the same serial numbers and need to be reset.
