Question

I have a classic StudioLive 16.4.2 mixer installed in a high school theater.  I would ideally like to place the attached laptop about 40 ft away from the board.  Is this possible?   If not, can I use a Firewire repeater box to extend the run?

The maximum cable length for Firewire 800 is 15ft. It is possible to extend Firewire further using repeaters or Firewire to ethernet converters, but Presonus does not officially support them.
