I am very new to recording and have just purchased the audiobox iTwo with studio one 3. When I go to record my guitar straight into the interface my Pc seems to completely ignore the interface and will record using its own microphone which sounds terrible.  Also, when I use Ampier I only here that through my pc speakers same with the metronome and when I play back a recording. I don’t understand why this is as I have my headphones aer plugged into the interface. I am sure this is me being a complete muppet any help would be appreciated.

My pc is a dell 7559 i7 running windows 10
