i have a classic 24x4x2 connected to studio one professional 3 with an imac. we use this set up for recording only. control room speakers are digital JBL's connected to the board via SPDIF. we use the boards aux sends (4 aux sends) to send a mix to our headphone amp (4 inputs plus stereo) which send 4 separate signals (instruments) to each musicians monitor box which they can control volume of each instrument, etc. here's the question: how if I can monitor what they are hearing in their headphones from the control room speakers and switch back and forth listening to what they are playing and what they are hearing?
do I need to use the control room outputs to the JBL's to make this work?
