Ok holy cow, Ive been waiting on hold for over an hour the last week on 3 separate occasions for a total of 3 hours in Tech support Queue and cant get through to any human beings.

My 16.4.2 has random freezing issues and I already talked to a tech back in April about it, and he suggested I send it in for repair. Since then I have done some reading on this issue that other users had and it seems to be a problem that plagues the 16.4.2 model. Most users say they have sent it in for repair and the issue was not fixed after multiple attempts.

My question is, after paying the bench fee plus shipping, if the issue is not fixed... what next? Do i keep having to pay fees for subsequent repairs to try and fix this issue? Or is there a trade in program where I can just bypass all this nonsense and trade my $2000 paperweight for a newer model that has no known issues with stability?

Sorry for the small rant but staying on hold for hours is not a comforting thing.

Having exact same issue. Presonus customer service is non-existent, me and my friend have been on hold for a total of almost 4 hours. Called up the local music shops and they confirmed the Customer Service snafu. Are forums the only way to get answers? Blogs? Facebook posts? C'mon.

In an age where we (Americans) are making less, service is EVERYTHING. Working in retail I know.

And from another post on this forum it seems that sending the board for repair(s) is not an automatic solution either.

SMH.
