I know that this topic has already been discussed but it does not specify what it does, for example if the two are connected they control tracks from 1 to 16 and if I press bank it goes from 17 to 32 and so on. I own one fader port 8 and I want to buy another one its that make sense or I will waste my money,

you might be better off selling the 8 and putting the money towards the 16
