Hey there,

Normally if you just wan't to use it to put recordings, audio files etc... you shouldn't have any issues.

If you wanted to move your daw or plugins on it, i won't recommend it except with a thunderbolt ssd or something like this cause it might bring lot of latency/lags when loading some stuff.

Just one thing you might wan't to be sure of is that you format the hardrive on exFAT mode as it will run fine with both mac os and windows :)
