Question

I'm running Universal Control AI (latest version) on El Capitan Macs (Mac Mini 2.3Ghz/8GB and MacBook Pro 2.5Ghz/16GB).

Randomly, UC AI will crash during a live set and when it does, my sound board loses audio (for 3 to 5 seconds sometimes).  

Is there a way to keep the firewire port from disrupting my audio signal when software products crash on hardware?

The mac mini is brand new.  Nothing else running but Capture, Spotify, Messages, Chrome and PDF viewer.  Hardly a memory constrained scenario and typical for a control computer.

Submit a system report and a crash file in a tech support ticket so the guys there can dig into the system and see if they can figure out what is causing the crash.
