Can you connect a SL16.4.2 to a NSB16.8

I have a windows 7 computer connected via firewire and also have a internet router connected to run tablets and android phones.  I'm trying to find the best solution to delete my old 16 channel snake with CAT5 cable.  Also looking at maybe adding the EarMix 16M to the system as well.

The NSB stage boxes will only work with a Series III mixer.
