I'm running an x64 WIndows 10 PC and recently bought a Presonus Studio 6 / 8
Most of the time it works fine with the exception of background noise, however every so often the sound will start cutting in and out randomly. I am plugged in through the direct out from my guitar amp into input 1 and using headphone monitoring. The interface, amp, headphone monitors and cables are all pretty new.
When the sound starts cutting in and out I also seem to get additional background buzzing that sounds digital, if that makes any sense. I can't seem to find a solution.
I also thought it was coming from Studio One but even if I exit Studio One and switch to direct monitoring it is happening. Anyone else encountered this?
Edit: Turns out that digital sounding buzzing was my guitar picking up signals from my monitor. Still unsure about the cutting in and out though.
