Simple one: I want to be able to lock which tool is the alternative tool you switch to while holding [Ctrl].

Because I am constantly hitting my shortcut for the arrow tool while editing and sometimes I use the shortcut when the arrow tool is already selected, which causes the alternative tool to cycle through the other tools. When this happens I need to press the shortcut several times again to go back to the tool I always use as secondary. Just want my smart tool to always have the same tool on [Ctrl].

I'm dying here with this

Here's the email I wrote PreSonus about this, and their response was that I make a feature request:

Subject: Alternative tool keeps changing!

There are currently two ways to change the alternative tool:
    1) Click on the Arrow Tool to reveal the menu
    2) Press 1 (Arrow tool) while Arrow tool is already selected. This will cycle through to the next alternative tool

Can you PLEASE disable method 2? Or make it its own keyboard shortcut like CTRL+1?

Because what happens is, the alternative tool keeps on accidentally getting changed every time I hit 1 (if 1 was already selected).
This is extremely frustrating, as it happens multiple times, every single day, because I'm always using the numbers to switch between the tools, which means I'm selecting "1" hundreds of times a day, and it's inevitable that I'll select "1" while "1" was already selected (in which case I want nothing to happen, not to switch my alternative tool which I want to remain the same.

I think I speak for 99.9% of users when I say that switch the alternative tool is not something I want to do often (or ever). Everyone has their go-to alternative tool and not looking to have a keyboard shortcut to switch it. And even if you want to make a keyboard shortcut for that, that's ok, just DON'T make it the SAME keyboard shortcut as something else! "1" is already assigned to "Select Arrow Tool" - Please don't allow "1" to also "Change alternative tool."

This is by far my biggest frustration that I encounter multiple times every single day. Please address this. Thank you!
