Question

I am sure that everyone working in a DAW would like to have some sort of piano roll but made for guitars instead.

It would be a game changer for many. Can this be done? i think so.

Yes, this is one of the reasons I use FL Studio as a VST plugin in my DAW!  Piano Roll for guitarist is an amazing thing especially with those plugins that emulate guitars so good nowadays that you start to think if you still want to play a real guitar...
