I am 65 years old and bought Presonus Studio One 4 Artist last October with a headphones and a Presonus AudioBox USB96.
I also bought an M-Audio Oxygen 49 (2014) keyboard.
I installed Studio One on a Windows 10 Acer computer, proc 2,8 GH, 8GB memory.
Because I am retired, I want to make my music with Studio One more beautiful as a singersongswriter on guitar.
This succeeds as a beginner quite well, but simply of course.
I therefore have a few questions.
1. Is there a manual or a book for the description of Studio One 4 Artist? Preferably in Dutch.
Where can I find the documentation for Studio One 4 Artist for a beginner?
2. Which software package can I buy best to load more VSTs in Artist?
3. I want to buy a heavier Windows 10 computer. Can you advise me?
This is because when I have more than 7 or 8 tracks the processor limiting the audio processing, with all the audio interference as a result.
4. On the Presonus forum I see discussions about whether or not Studio One 4 is multi-threading.
And the discussions of whether or not the Studio One 4 software can distribute the audio processing over the multiple processor cores.
My question is therefore can Presonus Studio One 4 Artist deal with multi threading?
And can the software also distribute audio processing across the multiple processor cores?
So perhaps it is also important when I want to buy a new Windows 10 computer.
I hope you can help me further and increase the fun with Studio One.
Thanks for the answers in advance.
