Studio One Audio FX Automation

Hi!

I've come across something that I find really annoying, and I don't think it would be that difficult for the coders/programmers to fix, at all.

When editing FX (pan, volume, et cetera) automations, I recently discovered that there is no way to select the points horizontally on a vertical scale. For example, in the screenshots provided we have a automation track in view with saw points: If we                     wanted to select only the bottom row, or only the top, we would have to do it manually; there is no way to do so.

However why I find this so strange (besides the fact it is the 21st century and Studio One is top-notch), is because when editing midi data in Studio One this feature already exists

All I'm asking for is the brief consideration to allow the individual automation points to be group-selected vertically, using a horizontal rectangle selection box.

Yours truly,

Josiah Wainman

Range-Tool Selection

Use the transform-tool (Paint [5] Transform] and draw a rectangle (be sure you have selected the Range Tool as your secondary tool].

[EDIT: Added:]

In the instrument automation lanes use the ALT modifier to draw a rectangle:
