Hi, in 2019 Faderport got firmware update which allows you to control midi cc with faders (updated manual here:

As StudioLive is your flagship product. I would expect the same feature available. I'm really thinking about buying Studiolive, but if this feature is missing, it might be a showstopper :-/
Using faders only to automate volume in DAW is a little bit overkill for this huge investment. It seems impossible to get perfect product on the market.
