Folks,

In Studio One, I would like to right-click on an audio track and see (on MAC, Finder) the exact WAV file the track is using. If this were possible, I would then like to attach a WAV file of my choosing to the track.

I moved some songs around and now I am getting missing WAVs. I know where the WAVs are, I just need to re-attach to the track. The Song->Locate Missing Files is not working for me. I have a bunch of songs there have Arranger notes that I put in and are important to me. Again, I just want to manually attach the WAV to the track.

Thanks in advance!

John

Hi John,

If I am reading you right, you are opening projects with missing files yet the locate missing files action doesn't work?  If this is right, then I may have a work around.

Instead of using the missing files at the begining when prompted you should be able to use the file browser to locate them.  I have a similar issue after reinstalling windows and setting my drives differently.  If you known the file locations them go to the browser, select files and drag and drop the in from the location.

I am surprised the locate file button hasn't worked. For me, using multiple files from one sample folder results in me using the "locate missing file" to find one and the resulting neighbouring files get dropped in too.

In the browser, you should be able to search by "volume" and click thru to where your files are dragging and dropping the files you need.

Hope that helps you some.
