My recording studio sent me an audio cd of my old album cuts. How do I either copy the audio tracks from the cd (if that's possible) or get the songs into a track in studio one. Do I just playback the track and record the sound from within studio one?

Thanks,
Ron

Depending on the format they're already in, you should be able to go to the

"files" section in Studio One and point it to your CD then drag and drop.

If they're not in a usable format (mp3, wav, etc)

Media player in Windows has the ability to RIP a CD.

It will allow you to select several bitrates as well as output file type.

MP3, WAV and a few others I think. I'm not sure if this method will keep any timing data though.
