I am using a presonus  audio ione and studio one 3 artist.

I think the answer is very simple here.

Open a new session in Studio One.

Select the template for the AudioBox USB as it's the same format for the iOne.

Drag your MP3 on the the Studio One Main window and on to Track 1, let it import the audio.

Now arm track 2, and you can record on track 2 while playing back the audio file on track 1.
