I would love to be able to edit a drum sample such as a kick or snare and overwrite the file on my Hard Drive like in Edison for FL Studio. Some times in SampleOne, I can load a kick drum and hear a click or pop at the end of the sample, but it is not visible in the sampleone edit screen. If I try to edit the envelopes it never seems to catch it. I would love to be able to manually edit the wav file (create fades etc.) and re-save the file to my hard drive. It could be integrated into SampleOne, for example by right clicking the sample and getting a menu option to edit sample. It just seems that your options are very limited in SampleOne for editing the sample that you load, the envelopes don't work well and you can't fade properly.  If I am missing this option please let me know, if not and you would love this function pleas upvote to get Devs attention. Thanks!

I totally agree with you on this smiley. One of the reasons why I left Cubase Pro was because their sample track doesn't allow you to replace the samples without resetting the parameters indecision. That's why I've been asking PreSonus to make SampleOne an multi-channel sampler (by allowing us to assign each sample to a MIDI Channel)  laugh.

If sampler xt could work like edison.  I can definitively get studio one more customers.  My students want to have the ability to shape 808's like FL but can't in sampler xt as is.
