Can I run two Studio 192 units via separate USB 3.0 cables to my Windows PC ports and access all channels in the DAW?

You can actually just use a multichannel preamp with ADAT to expand the available inputs and outputs in your DAW. The DP88 would accomplish this, though there are a variety of products from different brands that work.

Yes, I'm well aware of that but, the question is:

Can I run two Studio 192 units via separate USB 3.0 cables to my Windows PC ports and access all channels in the DAW?

Is that possible / impossible? I'd like to do it this way instead of ADAT because of cable limitations.

From Presonus tech support:

Yes it is possible and you would need to use third party applications to help you do so.  The process is called 'Audio Aggregate'.
