Can you manually change the combo (xlr 1/4) inputs from line to mic for trs cables?

I just got a StudioLive 32S. I have a drum snake that has xlr into balanced 1/4”.  Plugging the mics into the 1/4” inputs causes the channels to bypass the mic pres and use line level.  Is there a way to manually switch the channel from line level back to mic level?

No, cause its a line level input connected. Change the snake to XLR to get access to the mix level pre amp.
