I recently purchased an API TranZformer LX (bass version), and I am trying to use the XLR line output into my ioStation 24c, but, of course, I want to go as line input and bypass the ioStation's preamp. Do I have to use a TRS Balanced 1/4-inch to XLR Female Patch Cable to be recognized as line input?
Sounds great the way I have it, but I want to use it as line input to take advantage of the API transformer's sound.
