Question

I have three Strymon reverb pedals that I want to connect to my StudioLive 32.4.2 AI mixing desk.

Each Strymon pedal has 1/4” stereo outputs.

I am using the Strymon pedals with keyboard gear as dedicated reverb effects processors.

There are only two L & R AUX Inputs on the back of the mixing desk.

Should the stereo outputs from the Strymon pedals go into separate channels on the mixing desk or is there a way to connect the stereo outputs more efficiently and correctly?

Can you tell me the proper (safest) way to connect these pedals directly to the back of my StudioLive 32.4.2 AI?

1) Instrument (both outputs) -> Pedal board left/right -> Mixer (two input channels, Line in)

or 2) Instrument (per output) -> Mixer (XLR) -> Insert Pedal Board -> Mixer
