I think for Capture to be really useful for iPad users the following functionality needs to be added:
- InterApp Audio Support
- Support for AudioBus
- Support for AudioShare
I understand the desire not to try to rewrite another Auria / Cubasis / or GarageBand, and having a "slimmed down" app is nice. However, in all honesty, Capture needs to have a few enhancements added to it.
On another note, why doesn't Presonus simply team up with someone like Rim @ Auria? With a little bit of code provided by Presonus, Auria could just "export" projects in native S1 capture format.
This would provide a way for iOS musicians to easily get their projects off the tablet and into a S1 desktop environment for more serious work.
