Why is capture no longer transferring my tracks from iPad to mac as it was just a week ago? no changes on my end

Using Capture application on iPad, the tracks now read "transfer failed" on the mac book pro2015. I have restarted everything, tried new order of movement, and even recorded new tracks--then uninstalled capture and reinstalled it with the exact same outcome. I also tried the old tracks that did transfer last week, and they no longer do either. I have also reset my wifi network. I'm using the most current version of mac El Capitan 10.11.5.  

Any ideas?

There could be an IP conflict, try rebooting your network; restart modem, router, computer, iPad.
