I’d like to have an option to quantize the score, but only the score, not the midi data. If I compose something with S1 and have a lot of midi tricks going on and accurate fade-ins of brass or violins, the score looks very messy sometimes. In Cubase you can quantize the look of your score without touching the midi positions. I’d very much like that, even better when forward and backward communication with S1 would still work.
How about a “sheet layer” where you can work on the score and a midi layer where you can correct the basic notes and also send them back to Studio One?
