Would it be possible and even worth it to use a fader port (any model) with a StudioLive Mixer?   I am not talking about Series lll.   I am talking about classic, or the AI versions.   Or for that matter even the AR mixers.

I think the headline on the product page of the FaderPort Classic says it all. It is possible to use the classic and AI StudioLive mixers as interface for Studio One, but - with the exception of RM rack mixers and CS18AI - there is no DAW mode available. The Faderports can fill this gap.
