Make sure that you have installed the most current drivers for the device, and it should show up in the drop down options when you go to "Configure Audio Devices" from the start page. If you don't see the AB as an option to select, it most likely means that the drivers were not installed, If you have it selected and still can't hear it, the device is not synced to the computer.
FWIW, the ABUSB, depending on when it was purchased, came with a version of S1 Artist. If the device is registered, you can download that version from your user account. Artist has less restrictions that Free/Prime. Also, there is a 30 day demo for Pro. Both options will give you a better idea of Studio One functionality.
