Hello,

I just started playing with an effect from Studio One 2 called AUDistortion.  I was adjusting some aspects of the effect (Decimation, Decay), and it sounded awesome hearing this bassline deteriorate and then come back together in real time.  I tried to record it, but when I listened to it, the effect was fixed on whatever setting I had it on when I stopped recording.  Is there anyway to record in real time the changes I'm making to the effect?  I'd love to have a clean bassline for most of the song and have it delay into digital distortion as it gets toward the end of the song.  Please let me know if you have some ideas about this.  Thanks a bunch!

Here are two great videos that should help you with this.  One is on using the automation track in Studio One and the other is on using Event FX.
