Question

I have the free version of Kontact, but that's it. I don't have a DAW or a keyboard, but I am considering Studio One. Will the free Kontact work with it? Also, is Sonuscore's "The Orchestra" compatible? How are the sample instruments in the free version of studio one? Help!

pro one will. artist with vst add-on will also work. prime (free one) won't work with external VST instruments, I believe.

don't have personal experience with Sonuscore, but I use free Kontakt player with my S1 pro. in Pro there're more sounds and instruments included, but the Kontakt player is a welcome addition to this sound palette. in fact I use some instruments from Kontakt, some from native library, some from other plugins and they all sound different.

On a PC, under W10, I am using Sonuscore's The Orchestra Complete and Elysium in kontakt player with S1 pro, without any problem.
