According my trials and information from the reference manual the timeline control is only possible with a resolution of 1 bar.
I would like to have a resolution for timeline / transport control either by jog wheel or key command that is determined by the zoom of the current arranger view. This would allow perfect dynamic scrolling of the timeline bar during work. E.g. fast scrolling when the whole song is displayed, fine granular (sample accurate) scrolling when zoom is max to allow editing by jog wheel.
Key based mechanism would be ok for me, as I could map my jog wheel to key commands. Mackie control feature would surely be the best generic setup. Or both ?-))
