Dear Presonus,
Today I was watching Christian Henson from Spitfire Audio in this video:
- Exactly 7 minutes into it he uses a very awesome manual fader system (
https://store.palettegear.com/products/aluminum-expert-kit?variant=4629671428) to automate "expression" (Velocity/Volume). So, it made me wonder if the same could be accomplished with the faders on your Faderport (or StudioLive) systems. Note, he uses it both live, and after the fact to correct the expression after having recorded it. Very cool, as he can adjust the midi velocity during playback. So, it appears you have this in Faderport 8 and 16, but there is no mention of this ability in Faderport 2018. As Chrisyian mentions in his video, there are other less expensive alternatives to the Pallettegear, but I do not see anything that is not part of a keyboard, with their wonky faders.
In any case, I have seen elsewhere many people requesting Midi CC in faderport, but I have not seen that Faderport 2018 has the ability to be used as Christian uses the Pallettegear in the video linked above. Maybe you could clarify this for me.
Thanks,
