If i have selected Mix 1, the parametric EQ on the touchscreen is active, however if I switch to graphic EQ (faders), does the parametric still affect the mix?

John

NOTE: I have been "playing" with it standalone. I know I could connect a powered speaker and test this, but I'd like to know before I use the mixer live. Thanks.

Yes, when both equalizers are activated ("on"), both can manipulate the sound. Both equalizers also have a RTA (Real Time Analyzer). Graphic equalizers need to be assigned to a flex mix. There are eight available, which can be patched to any flex mix.

There are three options how to use flex mixes: Pre1, Pre2 and Post. The manual explains what this means. "Post" (postfade) is not an option for monitor mixes because the mix would follow the mix on Main level. "Pre2" (prefade) includes all sound processing of the selected channel and therefore can be heard in the monitor mix.

Good luck. Enjoy the mixer...!
