I am a brand new Studio One user, so apologies ahead of time for lack of knowledge of the software yet!
I have several weeks of entire set live recordings from the same band, and I want to use songs from within each set. I have mixed one song, and I need to use all the settings from that song as a start point for mixing the others. All channel plugins and settings, effects, sends, panning, etc, and all master bus settings as well. As each song will be mixed similarly to the others. I created a Song template from the one mixed song, and am trying to copy and paste all the tracks from the next set into that template to start mixing. The problem is that when I copy the tracks in, the gain on every track is automatically raised to well over clipping. What am I doing wrong?
