Question

Good morning,

This is my second time posting. I searched around and was not able to find the answer i was looking for.

I currently use the monitor outputs to feed audio to my encoder for our live stream. I know that i can control overall volume of the monitor with the monitor knob, But is there a way i can increase the volume of a single channel without it also raising the volume in house?

Example: Ch.1 Worship leader Vocals, Ch.2 Performance track:  In house mix between the two sounds good and balanced. But the sound going to stream through the monitors has the Ch.2 Performance track a little low / hard to hear with the vocals. If i increase the slider on that mix it solves the issue but it also increases the volume in house causing the music to be to loud.

My old Peavy XR1220 (1970s model lol) each channel had its own A/B monitor knob that allowed me to choose how much of each channel i wanted to send to the monitor for my stream. Is there something similar that can be achieved?

It's probably an easy fix.

The aux mix (stereo?) used for streaming should be set to "postfade". All faders should be set to unity, so that the aux mix reflects 1:1 what is done in the Main mix. This allows you to change volumes of individual channels as needed ("more lead vocals for the live stream"). If you are mixing stereo, do not forget to pan stereo channels manually. By default they are set to mono.

Pre1 and Pre2 are the other options for aux and matrix mixes, which means pre-processing or post-processing (EQ, compressor etc. included).
