Just purchased studio one 4 artist only to find you cant use 3rd party plugins .. what a rip off.

what is the point in making a daw where you cant use plugins.....

waste of money

This page gives you a clear picture about the differences of the Studio One versions. The "Third-party plug-in support (AU, VST2, and VST3 plug-ins and ReWire applications)" is available as Add-on and is called "VST and AU and Rewire Support".

The other answer is correct but it is probably more economical to by the professional version while it is on sale. It will allow you to access your plug ins. I waited all year for Black Friday to do this.
