We need an option to put the LED/LCD displays to sleep and prevent burn-in on StudioLive series mixers.

Section 12.1 "System Screen" of the "StudioLive_Series_III_OwnersManual_V6_EN_10062019" might be helpful here: "4. LED Brightness. Gives you a range of brightness settings for the LEDs. Choose Low, Mid, or High brightness for each" and "5. Backlight Brightness. Sets the brightness for the displays on your StudioLive (scribble-strip and touch). Choose between Low of High."

There is not really a danger of a burn-in of LEDs, scribble strips and touchscreen.

Thanks for your response, wahlerstudios. I'm generally aware that LCD's aren't susceptible to burn-in the same way that old CRTs would be but it still seems to be that manufacturers recommend running a screensaver or turning them off to avoid image persistence.

I was less certain regarding the scribble strips. I have other equipment that uses OLEDs that was recently updated by the manufacturer with a timer that temporarily turns them off to address the possibility of burn-in.  In my research, I came across some conflicting information but this caused some concern:

"Ultimately, the dilemma is this: All organic light-emitting diode screens can burn-in, and from everything we know, they're more susceptible than standard liquid crystal displays, including QLED models from Samsung and others. But those same OLED screens produce better image quality than LCDs."

Combined with these test results, it's the reason that I thought that a display timer is worth a look.
