Question

I have been recording a band live with three vocalists. I want each vocalist to have their own timeline in my DAW, and also have their signal go to the PA's mixer. Right now I am using Y cables to split the mic signal to the DAW and the mixer. Is there a better way? Can I use the general purpose outs on the Firestudio?

The FSP has 8 inputs, and 8 "general purpose outputs... route the audio from each mic input to an output then into the mixer, now, the question is, are you recording ONLY the 3 vocals? you didn't say... there could be some latency issues if you aren't sending everything threw the FSP.
