How do I force a firmware update for my FireStudio device and when should I do this?

Best answer
The only time you should need to force a firmware update is if the previous update had failed.  But if the need arises, simple hold down CTRL+ALT and then click on Check Firmware in the Setting Menu in Universal Control.  This will force the update to run.
