The manual recommend not to position the R65 speakers horizontally since it results in "reduced fidelity and potential phase problems". Even though it's not recommended, I still tried it for a couple weeks to see how this might improve the mixing process in mono.
But I read an article which says that Ribbon Tweeters can suffer from deformation when positioned horizontally. Since the official manual does not mention any risk of this kind, I guess it's okay. But I still want some further advice, just to be sure...
What do you think ?
