I have multiple midi controllers.  If i open a DRUM VST such as Impact. I would like to dedicate my ATOM to IMPACT so when i open an instance of impact my ATOM is the default instrument.  I want to be able to drag and drop and play.....as it is now i have my akai advance set as my default controller, so every time i open IMPACT or any other drum sampler i have to change the midi controller and it interrupts my workflow, having to change it to ATOM each time.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE THE ABILITY TO SCROLL THROUGH SOUNDS DIRECTLY ON THE ATOM.  I currently can press the left and right arrow on IMPACT to scroll through other files in the folder of the selected pad.  I would like to be able to scroll through them the same way without having to use my mouse (directly on the ATOM)

I have an ATOM and also a ********* Motor61 keyboard. I have the Motor61 as my default in S1 settings. However, in the 'Input' dropdown of S1's window for any VST plugin,   you can select 'All Inputs'  and it should accept input from either or both without needing to select anything. Further, on my system, that setting is set to 'None' and both devices just work.
