Hi all,  I'm thinking of buying the latest FaderPort but there's one question.

Is there a way to map the fader to the value to write the automation using the latest FaderPort?

Is it possible to quickly switch the mode so that the fader can be used for plugin automation, so for instance I can automate a high pass filter?

If i understand your question you would just put the track on "write" and work the fader in real time with the song to write your auto mation then switch it to "read" when you finish, if you want to auto mate plugins just have the plugin on top and map whatever control you want to the plugin parameter you want to automate.
