I recorded vocal using the Layer function. Created two tracks as I wasn't able to sing whole song at once. The things is that I noticed that each layer moves at the same time. So, I can't pin which I like. I'm not sure if my explanation is clear, so I attach the screenshot for the reference.

eg) I prefer the Layer 1 at the very first part and prefer the Layer 3 at the next part. But if I move the Layer 1 then I can't use it any longer. Can I lock it or something?

Hi,

First, remember that on the track, it's the last recorded layer that is displayed (unless you changed the layers order after recording).

Then, you can select parts of layers that you like and those parts will appear on the track. That's the way to do the comping.

Then you can copy the resulting event from the track to another one by selecting all parts.

Clear ?
